The Aluminium Crown is a speculative fiction writing prize sourced entirely from the Victorian Container Deposit Scheme. 

 

We collect cans. And then we trade them for money. And then we trade that money for fiction that examines modern Australia through the lens of the very near future, a genre we feel there’s not enough of.
